You start with a 10-minute conversation about who you are and what kind of connection you are looking for. From that, we build your portrait and find you one match at a time. Each match comes with a connection note explaining why you were paired. Conversations progress through three trust zones, with new features becoming available as you go deeper.

Lovetick is free to start. You can have your first conversation, get your portrait, and receive your first match without paying anything. We will share more about pricing and premium features closer to launch.

Matching is based on predicted conversational chemistry, not just shared interests or photos. We analyse how you communicate, what you care about, and what kind of energy you bring to a conversation. Then we find you one person you are likely to genuinely connect with. Every match comes with a connection note explaining the reasoning.

Your portrait is an evolving picture of who you are as a conversationalist. It is built from your onboarding conversation and grows over time through optional daily questions and the conversations you have with matches. It is not a profile you write. It is written by listening to how you actually talk.

There are three zones. Zone 1 (The Shallows) is text and a couple of photos. Zone 2 (The Channel) adds voice notes and full photos after a couple of days. Zone 3 (The Deep) opens up voice calls, photo sharing, and date planning. You progress naturally as trust builds. After 48 hours in any zone, both people check in on whether to continue.

Because more options do not lead to better outcomes. Research shows that pre-meeting evaluation based on profiles does not predict whether two people will actually connect. The signal is in the conversation. One match at a time means you actually invest in the conversation instead of keeping one eye on the next option.

You can report a user at any stage of the conversation. Reports are always anonymous to the other person. Every report is reviewed by a real person. You will be told what action was taken. If you block someone, that block is permanent and they will never appear in your matches again.

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. When you delete, all of your data is permanently removed within 30 days. We do not keep shadow profiles or retain your data for marketing. Delete means delete.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs. Your match never sees your full name, location, or phone number unless you choose to share it. You can read the full details on our privacy page.

After every date, we ask both people how it went. Not to rate each other, but to help us understand what you are looking for. What you liked, what did not land, what surprised you. This feedback loop is the most powerful signal for improving your next match. It is optional, but it genuinely helps.

You can cancel any time from the app settings. Cancellation is immediate and you will not be charged again. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access to your current features until the end of the billing period. No hoops, no retention flows, no guilt trips.

That is completely fine. After the 48-hour check-in, you can choose not to continue and you will receive a new match. We learn from every interaction. If a match did not work, the system adjusts. It gets better the more honest you are about what you are looking for.

Lovetick is currently in pre-launch. The waitlist is open and the first city activates when we reach enough signups in that area. Join the waitlist to be first in when your city goes live.

Yes. Every single user is verified with government-issued ID and a real-time selfie match. No exceptions. This is mandatory because our model, where you do not choose who you talk to, requires you to trust that everyone in the pool is real and vetted.
